Kampala, Uganda – December 16, 2009
In an effort to provide more efficient service to American citizens, immigrant visa and non-immigrant visa applicants, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the United States of America will be implementing revised public hours effective January 2, 2010.
Dedicated hours for each group of Consular Section clients will now be as follows:

| American Citizen Services (non-emergency), to include U.S. passport renewals, visa pages, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, notarials, etc. |
Monday and Wednesday 0730-1200 Friday 0730-1100 |
| Immigrant Visa Services | Monday and Wednesday 1300-1530 |
| Non-Immigrant Services | Tuesday and Thursday 0730-1230 |
Please note that, with the exception of emergency American Citizen Services, all services listed above are now by appointment only. To make an appointment, please send an E-mail or visit the following website:
