The American Embassy in Nairobi processes all Immigrant Visas for individuals living in Uganda.
The Immigration and Nationality Act allows for the immigration of the foreigners to the United States based on relationships to a U.S. citizen or legal permanent resident. American Citizens or Legal Permanent Residents must file an immigrant visa petition on behalf of immediate relatives.
