U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Jendayi Frazer Visits Uganda

Ambassador Jendayi Frazer, the U.S. Assistant Secretary of State for African Affairs, is visiting Uganda from June 18-20 for consultations with senior officials of the government of Uganda, including President Yoweri K. Museveni, on U.S.-Uganda bilateral relations and regional issues. 

As part of her trip, Assistant Secretary Frazer will travel to Gulu in order to meet with GOU and Uganda Peoples Defense Force officials, members of parliament and other elected officials, religious leaders, NGO and civil society representatives to hear the views of stakeholders in northern Uganda's security and humanitarian relief operations.  She will visit an internally displaced persons camp and a reception center for formerly abducted children.
