Requirement
The Mission invites responsible vendors to provide proposals1 for set up of a Range Berm and Target layout.
SOW and Drawing:
The Contractor will be required to excavate, import and dump, compile and compress approximately 100 meters long, 24' wide, of earth with rock/ or crushed concrete to rise 20' high. The slope will be at an angle of 1.1 and the top of pyramid will be 4' think. Contractor must guarantee hard compression so as to avoid bullets escaping through from one end to another.
A target base will be required as follows 4 meters between target centers 5' STD PVC Pipe, Concrete footing, Gravel drain( technical drawing available
Vendor to develop and Submit Complete BOQ
Technical drawings are available upon request.
SITE VISIT,
A site visit has been arranged for Wednesday 5th January 2012 at the Kasenyi Military base.
Site visit will be upon approval by US Embassy, upon satisfactory demonstration of experience in Heavy earth works, and financial ability to execute works promptly. Time is essential to this procurement.
UPDF retains right to access to the base.
Site visit deliberations will be documented and become part and partial of SOW and evaluation
