American Citizen Services Appointments

In an effort to provide more efficient service to American citizens, the Consular Section of the Embassy of the United States of America will be implementing revised public hours effective January 2, 2010. 

Please note that, with the exception of emergency American Citizen Services, all services listed below are now by appointment only.  To make an appointment, please book through the links supplied.

• Schedule an appointment for notarial services, passport pick up, federal benefits and all other American Citizen Services not related to a CRBA and passport application.
• Schedule an appointment for CRBA (Consular Report of Birth Abroad) and all passport services (except passport pick up), here.

American Citizen Services (non-emergency),
to include U.S. passport renewals, visa pages, Consular Reports of Birth Abroad, notarials, etc.                        
Monday and Wednesday 0730-1200
Friday  0730-1100

The U.S. Embassy is closed on U.S. and Ugandan holidays and will not be able to provide non-emergency citizen services on these days.
