U.S. Mission Delivers Toys to Local Orphanage

On January 10, 2012, the U.S. Mission Uganda Marine Security Guard Detachment, along with several other Mission representatives, delivered a shipment of toys donated through the Toys for Tots program to the Nsambya Babies Home Orphanage.  The Home currently has 27 children (15 boys and 12 girls) ranging in age from newborn to seven years old.

The U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program has conducted toy collection and distribution campaigns each holiday season since 1947. Today, Toys for Tots is the Marine Corps' premier community action program and one of the nation's flagship holiday charitable causes.
