Bukomansimbi – Uganda: The U.S. Mission Uganda funded a hygiene and sanitation program that benefitted hundreds of Ugandan schoolchildren in Bukomansimbi district. The program was executed in partnership with Butenga Orphanage Care and Development (BOCADO), which used the $17,046 grant to purchase nine 10,000-litres capacity Crest Water Tanks for nine schools in the district. The grant also funded training for rain water harvesting, and water hygiene and sanitation skills.
